Process Development
In its continuous effort to expand its expertise and provide optimum custom solutions to its clients, GEA Messo PT has specialized Research Facilities in two different locations:
In these locations, critical process stages can be tested and improved, physical and chemical properties of the relevant process liquids can be measured, and crystallization data can be collected. In more detail, the services supported by our Research Facilities include:

Financial Services
GEA Messo PT can facilitate financing arrangements for its clients utilizing long term credits, export credit insurance, credits by development banks etc.
Design and engineering
GEA Messo PT provides process optimization, design and engineering that is suited to local environmental controls, energy and financial conditions. In addition, detailed mechanical engineering, specification and procurement of equipment, process control, electrical and civil engineering, plant lay-out and piping design can be part of the overall scope of supply.
Procurement and quality control
GEA Messo PT maintains working relationships with a number of qualified manufacturers and suppliers around the world. From its several locations in Europe and affiliated offices in major industrialized countries, GEA Messo PT can provide procurement of plant equipment, expediting, inspection of equipment for compliance with specifications and international standards, packing and shipping of equipment to plants around the world.
Civil Works and Erection supervision
GEA Messo PT provides drawings and technical documents to facilitate fabrication and installation of equipment as required by local engineers and contractors. It can also provide skilled service staff to assist in local project management and supervision of civil construction and erection.
Commissioning, Training, Testing and Operation
GEA Messo PT provides scheduling and supervision for plant pre-commissioning and start-up, training of plant personnel on the process and operation of the equipment (either at the plant site or at GEA offices), and supervision of performance tests.
Maintenance
Service engineers are available to assist in regular plant maintenance both on one-time as well as on a regular-schedule basis, through custom-made service contracts.

GEA Messo PT offers genuine parts custom-made for GEA Messo PT designed and supplied equipment.
Services Summary
GEA Messo PT provides Evaporator and Crystallizer process and equipment design and supply, startup, assistance with plant operation, troubleshooting, maintenance and utilization of improvements that may be indicated by related process development.
This includes:
- Process design and specialized engineering consultancy
- Feasibility / profitability studies
- Process development using the resources of our laboratory and bench scale facilities
- Execution of initial experiments and / or pilot tests
- Basic and detailed engineering for the complete unit
